Enrique Bazan

Mr. Bazan is a lifelong resident of Edcouch-Elsa and graduated in 2008 from Edcouch-Elsa High School. Mr. Bazan attended the University of Texas-Pan American and graduated with a bachelor’s in Criminal Justice in 2014.

While attending the University, Mr. Bazan began working as a Teacher Assistant/Tutor for Edcouch-Elsa ISD for five years. He proudly taught at the Pre-K level and was trusted with assisting the teachers with any assignments that needed to be completed and helping students who had difficulty with any of the studies being taught on that specific day.

In 2019, he was hired by the Hidalgo County District Attorney’s Office. He started as a receptionist for the Misdemeanor Department, greeting and assisting the public. Later, he was promoted to Co-Supervisor of the Restitution Department. Some of his duties were ensuring that every department he oversaw had all the resources needed to complete the task at hand. Mr. Bazan would interact with victims daily and ensure they were assisted. Mr. Bazan ultimately presented to the Hidalgo Courts how much Restitution each victim was entitled to due to the crime committed against them.
