Ricardo Rodriguez III

Ricardo Rodriguez III was born in Houston, Texas, while his father, Ricardo Rodriguez Jr., completed his final year of law school at Thurgood Marshall School of Law. Although a Houstonian, Mr. Rodriguez was raised in Edinburg and calls the RGV home. He graduated a year early as a Junior from Robert Vela High School, Class of 2016, in the Top 5% of his class. Mr. Rodriguez actively participated in the RVHS Mock Trial team, sparking his early interest in the legal field. He obtained his bachelor's degree in two and a half years from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, where he made the Dean’s List numerous times.

While attending UTRGV, Rodriguez became president of the Mock Trial team, which had been in a slump before his tenure. Under his leadership, the team competed at a private competition in Philadelphia and the main tournament in Houston, Texas. With newfound morale, the UTRGV Mock Trial team is again thriving with multiple members.

Rodriguez was accepted into Thurgood Marshall School of Law on a scholarship as the youngest in his class at the age of 20 and obtained his Juris Doctor cum laude, Class of 2022. Rodriguez tutored Torts and Contracts to first-year students during his second and third years and ensured they understood the curriculum. He made the Dean’s List every semester and participated in the Family Law Clinic his last semester, assisting and representing indigent clients with legal family needs. While at TMSL, Rodriguez was an active Hispanic Law Students Association member.

During his 1st year of law school summer, Rodriguez interned at The Ray Thomas Law Group, where they have tried over 100 cases and won dozens of million and multi-million-dollar jury verdicts for their clients. He subsequently worked with Rene A. Flores, Attorney at Law, overseeing the Personal Injury Department while awaiting his bar results. Because of his score on the Uniform Bar Exam, Rodriguez is eligible for admission to practice in all 41 states that recognize it.

Rodriguez takes pride in putting his clients first and obtaining the best outcome, no matter how small or big their case may be.
