Ricardo Rodriguez III was born in Houston, Texas, while his father, Ricardo Rodriguez Jr., completed his final year of law school at Thurgood Marshall School of Law. Although a Houstonian, Mr. Rodriguez was raised in Edinburg and calls the RGV home. He graduated a year early as a Junior from Robert Vela High School, Class of 2016, in the Top 5% of his class. Mr. Rodriguez actively participated in the RVHS Mock Trial team and attended the State Competition, which sparked his early interest in the legal field. He earned his bachelor's degree in two and a half years from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, where he was named to the Dean’s List.

While attending the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, Rodriguez served as president of the University’s Mock Trial team, which was struggling at the time. Under his leadership, the team competed in a private competition in Philadelphia and the Regional tournament in Houston, Texas. With newfound morale, the UTRGV Mock Trial team is again thriving with multiple members.

Rodriguez was accepted into Thurgood Marshall School of Law on a scholarship as the youngest in his class at the age of 19 and obtained his Juris Doctor cum laude, Class of 2022. Rodriguez tutored first-year students in Torts and Contracts during his second and third years. He made the Dean’s List every semester and participated in the Family Law Clinic in his final semester, assisting and representing indigent clients with family law matters. While at TMSL, Rodriguez was an active member of the Hispanic Law Students Association.

During his 1L summer, Rodriguez interned at The Ray Thomas Law Group, which has tried over 100 cases and won dozens of million- and multimillion-dollar jury verdicts for its clients. He subsequently worked with Rene A. Flores, Attorney at Law, overseeing the Personal Injury Department while awaiting his bar results. Because of his score on the Uniform Bar Exam, Rodriguez is eligible for admission to practice in all 41 states that recognize it.

Rodriguez takes pride in putting his clients first and achieving the best outcome, no matter how big or small their case may be. So far in his young career, he has already recovered millions of dollars for his clients. Attorney Ricardo Rodriguez III is ready to assist you with your legal needs.
