Destiny Rodriguez was born in McAllen, TX, and raised in San Juan, TX. She graduated in 2019 from PSJA North Early College High School. Ms. Rodríguez attended the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice in 2021. She is a proud first-generation college graduate.

During her last semester, in December 2021, she also interned at the Hidalgo County District Attorney's office, where she found her passion for learning more about criminal law.

In February of 2023, she was employed by the Hidalgo County District Attorney’s office. She was a legal assistant for the intake division, greeting and assisting law enforcement agencies from all over Hidalgo County, Texas. She was responsible for accepting all criminal cases, starting from misdemeanor to felony cases, and ensuring the cases were ready to be sent to their appropriate division. She would also work on dismissals and pr bonds for the division.

Ms. Rodriguez is now joining The Ricky Rod Law Group and is ready to assist you with your legal needs.
